Privacy by design

RecurWell stores only the account and subscription details you choose to add. We do not connect to a bank, use Plaid, inspect transactions, or sell personal information for advertising.

What we collect

Account identity is handled by Firebase Authentication. RecurWell stores your profile settings, subscription names, amounts, currencies, renewal dates, notes, and cancellation links in Google Cloud Firestore. If you join an early-access list, we store that email and its signup time separately.

How we use it

We use this information to provide your tracker, projections, upcoming views, extension connection, support, and security. Product analytics use aggregate counters and do not contain your UID, email, subscription details, amounts, dates, notes, URLs, or IP address.

Browser extension

The extension receives a scoped, revocable token after you approve pairing. It can read your RecurWell summary and start an editable draft from the active page. It does not read browsing history or run on every site.

Security and retention

Authenticated web sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies. Extension tokens are stored hashed, expire after 90 days, and can be revoked. Data remains until you delete it, except limited operational records retained for security and legal obligations.

Your choices

Export your account as JSON or delete it from Settings. You can also ask about access, correction, or deletion by emailing support@recurwell.com.
